Today marks the final opportunity to apply for the Pre-D.El.Ed examination for admission into the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) program. Compared to last year, fewer applications have been received so far. This year, approximately 5.97 lakh candidates have applied.
Officials expect a slight increase in the number of applicants by the end of the day. The deadline for application submission is set for April 26. Candidates who have not yet applied still have a few hours remaining. However, authorities believe there is little chance of a significant surge in applications before the deadline closes.
